My name is Cheryl Bruce and this is your Virtual Assistant (VA) in Your Pocket. I hope there is something in my story that resonates with you.
I’ve worked in the non-profit space for almost 29 years (all in the same place!) and let me say it has been exciting. I’ve worked on the technology side and have seen everything from and up to the world as we now know it…lightening fast! But even though technology has changed dramatically, good customer service hasn’t.
My dream has been to work from home providing the same support I have for all these years in the corporate world and more! I have worked remotely with many large vendors for about 25 years so I’m experienced in getting things done from a distance. I don’t think you will even notice that I’m not in the same building with you it’s worked so well.
My work has also involved working with seniors and boomers. These groups, in particular, have taught me patience and humility. It has been a pleasure to serve them and see them connecting with others electronically in this ever changing world.
I’m married to a wonderful home. We are home ’ers and weekend sailors on a 30 foot Catalina. Have I got some DIY home projects to tell you about whose name is Daniel. He is my biggest fan! We have two cats and two dogs who run our
